About the Role
Entegris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to join our Refurb team in Burnet. This role focuses on high-quality, safety-focused disassembly, assembly, and troubleshooting of canisters, alongside improving manufacturing processes for safety, quality, and efficiency. The shift schedule is a 3-2-2 on Night shift from 6pm-6am once fully trained and certified.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot containers in a hazardous chemical environment.
- Follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Seek opportunities to continually improve work processes and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Leadership, Engineering, Quality, and Safety teams to meet production goals.
- Achieve the best results possible with a high degree of accountability and integrity.
- Actively seek solutions to problems and share ideas with the team.
- Demonstrate interest in continuing to learn and improve processes.
- Adapt to change and work under pressure while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical and/or technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
- Astute attention to detail required.
- Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment is a plus.
- Dependability with flexibility to work over-time and weekends.
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications.
- SAP and PLC experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 51lbs daily.
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle highly hazardous material responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to attain respirator certification.
