About the Role

The Residential Real Estate Sr. Sales Associate monitors loan portfolios of Private Bank/Merrill Lynch clients, specific to mortgage products ranging from basic to highly customized arrangements. This role requires a high degree of mortgage knowledge and interaction with clients, serving as the primary contact for follow-up and information throughout the loan process. The associate will also explore opportunities to deepen client relationships and identify potential cross-sell opportunities within Bank of America.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors loan portfolios of Private Bank/Merrill Lynch clients, specific to mortgage products.
  • Works closely with the Residential Real Estate Specialist, PCAs, PCMs and FAs in structuring and pricing.
  • Interacts directly with clients.
  • Serves as primary contact with client for all necessary follow up and information throughout the loan process.
  • Explores opportunities to further/deepen the client's relationship by leveraging all areas within BAC.
  • Looks for potential cross sell opportunities.

Requirements

  • Possesses a high degree of mortgage knowledge including product, compliance, underwriting, and collateral requirements.
  • Previous residential mortgage/HELOC experience in the HNW arena required (minimum 4-10 years).
  • Regulatory requirements demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics by complying with all Federal and State compliance policies and HMDA requirements.
  • This position may be responsible for the provision of residential mortgage loans, and as such, is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements.
  • Employees are required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check.
  • Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
