About the Role
Carrier is seeking engineering majors with leadership ability and strong academic performance for its competitive Engineering Leadership Program (ELP). This program offers graduates impactful contributions through three, eight-month rotations across various Carrier centers of excellence and business units, providing hands-on assignments, high-caliber training, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Work with global and cross-disciplinary teams to apply model-based design, verification tools, and methods to create the next generation of HVAC/R packaged equipment for building applications.
- Complete modeling and confirmation testing as required by small and medium rooftop product programs.
- Build technical and leadership skills within a professional, cross-functional environment.
- Gain exposure to technology and product development.
- Learn technical fundamentals of HVAC, including modeling and hands-on lab testing.
- Understand project management.
- Understand change management.
- Engage with customers.
- Develop executive presence and communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
- GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0.
- Geographically mobile and willing to relocate for rotations.
- Must graduate in 2026 or 2027 with an engineering degree.
- Must be available to start the Leadership Program in June 2027.
