About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Salesforce Software Developer to provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and guiding enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions. This role involves deep platform expertise, architectural thinking, integration patterns, hands-on development, and team leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that streamline sales conversions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design for complex Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds.
- Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and development patterns.
- Align Salesforce solutions with overall enterprise architecture.
- Drive evaluation and adoption of new Salesforce technologies and features.
- Optimize code and integrations for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Perform hands-on development for important/strategic features or products.
- Mentor Salesforce developers, admins, and junior architects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advise leadership on the technical roadmap, platform limits, and opportunities.
- Provide estimates, technical plans, and risk assessments.
- Review code, solution designs, and integration strategies across development teams.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce development lifecycle practices (CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, version control).
- Identify technical debt and optimizations within the Salesforce ecosystem and champion a technical roadmap.
- Gain a holistic view of the Moneris sales process and streamline Salesforce clouds for different stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience or equivalent expertise.
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Expert level knowledge of Apex, LWC, Visualforce.
- Expert level knowledge of Data model Design (custom objects and schema optimization).
- Expert level knowledge of Salesforce APIs and integration patterns.
- Expert level knowledge of Salesforce security and data architecture including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, role hierarchy and shield.
- Expert level knowledge of Flows, apex triggers and automation strategy.
- Expert level knowledge of Governor limits and async processing.
- Expert level knowledge of Mulesoft.
- Expert level knowledge of Salesforce Sales cloud, Salesforce Experience cloud, data 360, revenue Cloud.
- Experience architecting and delivering high-quality, high-security, and high-availability solutions.
- Experience with continuous learning about emerging technologies and software best practices.
- Experience in leading the delivery of a large Salesforce project with integrations to internal systems.
