About the Role
Protiviti is seeking a Technology Consulting Senior Manager to join its growing Workday team. This role involves partnering with clients to identify and manage risk, developing strategies to solve complex business problems, and devising solutions using the latest tools and methods. The position also focuses on building client relationships, serving as a market ambassador, and mentoring teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to identify and manage risk.
- Develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking.
- Devise solutions to support client needs through using the latest tools and methods.
- Develop lasting relationships with client personnel and further these relationships through quality product delivery.
- Foster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market.
- Serve as a mentor and provide performance development to teams.
- Oversee the successful completion of project work plans.
- Apply knowledge of Workday Supply Chain to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
- Build relationships with clients and provide exceptional experiences.
- Demonstrate interest in project management and team leadership.
- Promote a positive team culture that fosters open communication.
- Create development opportunities for others, including participating in training creation and rollout.
- Contribute to the preparation of client proposals and strategies to win new business.
- Identify opportunities to integrate product solutions and resources to improve client service capabilities.
- Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
- Serve as a Workday SCM workstream lead during implementations.
- Develop, maintain, and update the Workday SCM implementation plan, including data conversion, testing, and requirements gathering.
- Prepare for and lead Workday SCM design workshops to define requirements, future state process flows, and configuration specifications.
- Configure Workday SCM and facilitate user testing.
- Lead and participate in supplier master data harmonization, conversion, and validation efforts, including leveraging AI/ML tools.
- Design and implement solutions leveraging process automation, IoT, big data, AI/ML, predictive analytics, and blockchain.
- Partner with stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
- Lead analysis, design, configuration, and delivery of Workday SCM.
- Implement best practices for Workday SCM to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Conduct gap analysis between business needs and Workday capabilities, recommending solutions or enhancements.
- Lead and perform Workday application control reviews and risk assessments.
- Evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data.
- Establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.
- Pursue business development opportunities and identify/implement strategies to obtain new work or clientele.
- Translate and communicate challenges to client personnel, including executives.
- Provide leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams, including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Workday SCM modules including Inventory Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management.
- Familiarity with Source-to-Pay and Contract Lifecycle Management systems.
- Assessing a Workday SCM platform in the context of a Sarbanes-Oxley compliance effort is a plus.
- Ability to translate and communicate challenges to client personnel, including executives.
- Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.
- 7+ years working in professional services or industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
- Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely.
- The ratio of remote to in-person requirements vary by client, project, team, and other business factors.
