About the Role
A Houseperson is the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps public areas, guest rooms, and facilities spotless and fully stocked. Working with housekeeping and maintenance teams, they help create a seamless, welcoming experience, ensuring every guest’s stay is unforgettable.
Responsibilities
- Effectively clean and maintain all Hotel elevator floor landings, public restrooms, stairwells, and corridors.
- Polish, spot clean, and vacuum furniture, and perform carpet cleaning.
- Climb ladders to remove and replace curtains/drapes in guest rooms when required.
- Operate a pressure washer to clean patios and balconies when required.
- Remove and replace mattresses and furniture in guest rooms.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Prior cleaning experience.
- Prior guest service experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
