About the Role
As an Analog Layout Engineer with Marvell, you’ll be a member of the Central Engineering business group, providing IP to all other business units. You’ll be part of a small analog team making a big impact, with the freedom to dive deep into your specialization while also learning new aspects of engineering.
Responsibilities
- Receive a schematic from an Analog IC Designer.
- Use a CAD tool to graphically design the layers of a schematic.
- Run simulations and verifications on the design using Cadence Virtuoso.
- Refine and debug designs in concert with the designer until specifications are met.
- Collaborate with global teams in Argentina, Singapore, the U.S., and throughout Europe.
- Meet every few days with the paired designer to share information and work together.
- Attend routine meetings with technical mentors, the layout team, and the project team.
- Present progress updates, specific issues, or solutions to teams and potentially the entire group.
- Share new learnings with colleagues.
Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of electrical concepts.
- Specialized coursework in analog design or layout.
- Proficiency in using CAD tools for implementation layers and microelectronic layers.
- Excellent communication skills for status updates, presentations to global teams, and sharing information across different personnel levels.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under applicable law.
- May be subject to an export license review process prior to employment.
