About the Role

We are looking for an Analyst within Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) US to support pipeline origination, deal structuring and execution, and management of the existing business book.

Responsibilities

  • Interact closely with Structured Credit and Banking Coverage teams in an intense and demanding environment.
  • Be responsible for transaction origination and execution, including pitching, asset pricing and valuation.
  • Interact with the Global Markets trading floor, clients, attorneys, rating agencies, and others involved in executing transactions.
  • Lead the creation and presentation of client marketing materials.
  • Gain exposure to a broad spectrum of asset classes from consumer to transportation.
  • Develop client relationships across corporate, fintech, and institutional clients.
  • Be an integral member of the team responsible for origination, structuring, and marketing of ABS.
  • Coordinate the management of different aspects of securitization transactions.
  • Evaluate new potential transactions, involving due diligence, market research, financial analysis, and proposal of pitch ideas.
  • Actively engage with clients, the trading floor, attorneys, rating agencies, and insurance providers.
  • Develop transaction timelines and responsibilities, ensuring the deal process stays on track.
  • Review and negotiate underlying transaction documentation and conduct deal structuring.
  • Master rating agencies’ frameworks and guide issuer clients through the rating process.
  • Develop and present marketing materials and presentations to solicit new transaction mandates.
  • Collaborate with the team to generate novel ideas and solutions for issuer funding requirements.
  • Monitor and interpret data affecting securitization programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences.
  • Monitor technical market trends and performance of industry participants.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Superior analytical aptitude required
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong computer skills: Rigorous knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both face to face and via telephone and email
