About the Role
Battlefield Equipment Rentals is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician Level 2 for their Stoney Creek location. This role is crucial for ensuring equipment availability and maintaining service department operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete cleaning, washing, and routine maintenance of construction equipment.
- Complete quality assurance inspections on equipment.
- Test and operate construction equipment, including damage assessment.
- Perform annual inspections on select rental equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including servicing, minor repairs, adjustments, oil, and filter changes.
- Assist and guide Level 1 Preventative Maintenance Technicians.
- Complete required documentation and data entry.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, shop, and branch.
- Load and unload customer rental equipment when required.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist other technicians as needed.
- Follow all Health and Safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and building products.
- Self-starter with strong time-management and planning skills.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and mechanics.
- Technical aptitude and organization skills are preferred.
