About the Role
As a Vice President in Investment Banking, you will demonstrate good business acumen and a proven track record in developing clients and marketing total business solutions. You will support an outstanding network of relationships with corporate and institutional clients, identify and develop new business opportunities with existing clients, and explore new business opportunities with new clients.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on integrated financial solutions including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, loans, and equity capital and debt capital raises, in collaboration with financial solutions and execution teams.
- Follow up and coordinate all deals and requests from clients, liaising with Financial Solutions, execution teams, internal departments, and external consultants.
- Provide timely market information.
- Participate in business and company events to identify new business opportunities and pitch for new clients.
- Lead and/or participate in execution meetings with support from execution/product partners as needed.
Requirements
- 6+ years of prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to concisely communicate concepts, defend their validity, and interact professionally with clients.
- Very strong quantitative and analytical skills, including Excel modeling and valuation work.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions.
- Adaptability, with the ability to manage projects independently and assume a high level of responsibility.
- Excellent understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks.
