Responsibilities
- Interact professionally using Spare Time Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.).
- Serve guests utilizing Spare Time Entertainment’s Steps of Service.
- Provide support to servers and kitchen staff.
- Assist with prepping food.
- Communicate food orders to chefs, noting priorities and special requests.
- Review ordered items before kitchen departure and deliver items efficiently.
- Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
- Inform restaurant staff about guest feedback or requests.
- Assist wait staff with table turnover, including setup and breakdown.
- Remove soiled dishes and utensils and maintain the dish area.
- Polish and roll silverware.
- Provide kid’s menus and special silverware sets to families with young children.
- Promote knowledge of the location’s features and upcoming events.
- Demonstrate menu knowledge, make suggestions, and answer guest questions about ingredients.
- Maintain clean equipment and working areas according to restaurant programs and health codes.
- Keep products and areas organized and restocked, communicating inventory shortages.
- Report all violations to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous work experience preferred.
Skills
- Ability to review ordered items before kitchen departure and deliver items efficiently.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work long hours and frequent weekends.
