About the Role
As a Manager in Assurance Financial Services Industries, you will actively shape the future of the financial industry. You will join a highly qualified team that supports financial institutions in optimizing processes, minimizing risks, implementing regulatory requirements, and adhering to compliance standards. You will help our clients develop sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage risks, develop solutions, and lead regulatory and strategic transformation projects.
- Advise clients in the Financial Service Industry (FSI) independently on the analysis, optimization, and implementation of risk management processes according to regulatory requirements.
- Support clients in assessing their risks and improving their banking control with profound knowledge in risk management.
- Drive the development and introduction of innovative methods and tools (e.g., for AI utilization).
- Take responsibility for project teams, foster their development, and actively shape the transformation in the Financial Services environment.
- Represent Deloitte to clients as a recognized expert for technical topics and act as a central contact person internally for questions regarding risk management and governance.
Requirements
- Degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, or a comparable field, with specializations in risk management, accounting, or finance.
- Several years of professional experience in risk management, risk controlling, or finance, ideally in consulting or at a financial institution such as a bank, insurance company, or FinTech.
- Enthusiasm for the latest technologies such as Data Science, AI, or Big Data and their application in risk management.
- Leadership experience, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to inspire people with ideas and implement them.
- Willingness to travel.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
