About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated grounds assistant to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY. Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community dedicated to providing older adults with the best possible living experience, offering a lifestyle that meets their needs and interests.
Responsibilities
- Perform snow removal of entire grounds including parking lots and walkways.
- Perform lawn mowing of entire grounds.
- Clean all exterior entrances of leaves and debris.
- Sweep exterior areas to remove cigarette butts, garbage, etc.
- Perform landscaping tasks as directed.
- Keep the pond clean of debris.
- Provide assistance with valet parking of residents’ automobiles.
- Keep the golf green and sand trap neat and in order.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to be called in during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather).
Skills
- Experience as a groundskeeper is preferred.
