About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated grounds assistant to join our growing team. Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community dedicated to providing older adults with the best possible living experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform snow removal of entire grounds, including parking lots and walkways.
- Mow lawns across the entire grounds.
- Clean all exterior entrances, removing leaves and debris.
- Sweep exterior areas to remove cigarette butts and garbage.
- Perform landscaping tasks as directed.
- Keep the pond clean of debris.
- Provide assistance with valet parking of residents’ automobiles.
- Maintain the neatness of the golf green and sand trap.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing to be called in during emergency conditions, such as severe weather.
Skills
- Groundskeeping experience is preferred.
