- Serve as the central escalation point for complex operational challenges, policy exceptions, and site-level logistical issues across all regions.
- Direct, coach, and support regional site points of contact, Experience Managers, and Event Coordinators across AMER locations.
- Lead weekly event briefings across AMER sites and oversee global operational readiness for major signature initiatives.
- Partner closely with client leadership, internal teams, and key vendor partners, overseeing contract governance, supplier negotiations, and on-site vendor performance.
- Execute and enforce event capacity frameworks globally, managing capacity forecasting, blackout/soft-blackout window enforcement, and standardized decline guidance.
- Track and manage event budgets, forecasts, and post-event financial reconciliations while enforcing health, safety, and risk management practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive experience in corporate event planning, event operations, or workplace experience across multi-site or global portfolios in fast-paced corporate environments.
- Proven execution leadership: Demonstrated track record of leading end-to-end operational execution for complex, high-volume, or high-profile events.
- Global standards & process development: Proven experience drafting and implementing operational SOPs, unified SLAs, audit cadences, data quality standards, and standardized execution frameworks across distributed or international teams.
- Cross-regional coordination & team leadership: Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating cross-functional and matrixed regional teams.
- Escalation & risk management: Superior stakeholder management and escalation triage capabilities, with experience serving as a primary liaison to client leaders and resolving operational issues under tight timelines.
- Data-informed approach to operational efficiency, including attendee feedback analysis, intake tracking, and event performance measurement.
- Proven capability to lead teams through change, complexity, and ambiguity in a highly collaborative global network.
- Vendor & budget management: Strong track record managing external vendors, contract negotiations, and budget management.
- Systems & analytics expertise: Deep experience utilizing event management software, workplace ticketing request systems, and analytical reporting tools.
- Cross-functional partner alignment: Strong cross-functional management skills with AV/IT, Corporate Security, Facilities, and Food & Beverage/Catering teams.
