About the Role
InterContinental Toronto Centre is seeking a Part-Time Valet Attendant to assist guests with parking, luggage, and hotel information, aiming to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue. The role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Greet arriving guests, assist incoming and outgoing guests, and park vehicles safely and timely.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and record information.
- Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests.
- Provide local directions to guests.
- Offer luggage assistance to guests and bell staff.
- Respond to guest requests or complaints professionally and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide non-valet parking instructions and assistance.
- Accept payments for parking fees and handle cash/credit according to policy.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One year of driving experience.
- Fluent English speaking ability.
- Alcohol awareness certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clear driver’s abstract.
- Ability to perform frequent standing and moving in various hotel and parking areas.
- Ability to run to retrieve cars.
- Knowledge of the locale.
- Ability to drive cars with manual or automatic transmissions.
- Reading and writing abilities.
- Basic math skills.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
