About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook hot meals for lunch and dinner service, following recipes, menus, and production requirements
- Coordinate production to ensure quality, taste, and presentation of food
- Batch cook items for timely service on the lunch tray line
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met throughout preparation and storage
- Properly utilize leftovers in collaboration with the Supervisor to minimize waste
Requirements
- Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or food service preferred
- Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
