Our Engineering Summer Internship Programme is designed to simulate our Engineering Associate Programme, offering insight into a career in Technology and Engineering at LSEG. Interns will explore potential career paths within D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell, and I&C Engineering functions, engaging in roles that can range from development and programming to business analysis and tech project management. These are real roles where summer interns contribute to the organisation's success.
Responsibilities
- Explore potential career paths by working within D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell, I&C Engineering functions.
- Engage in roles that can vary from development and programming to business analysis and tech project management.
- Contribute to the success of the organisation in real roles.
Requirements
- Must be in the junior year of undergraduate studies, completing all course requirements by summer 2028.
- Must be studying a 'STEM' subject (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
- Demonstrate an interest in technology through work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic studies.
- Show interest in financial markets and how technology supports the business.
- Exhibit curiosity for data and an ability to analyze information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
- Be able to connect the dots and think creatively.
- Demonstrate focus, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with others using strong communication skills.
- Demonstrate and recognize that achievements are equally important to how they are achieved.
