About the Role
Mary Lee Foundation is seeking dedicated, honest, and responsible individuals to provide compassionate care and support to adults with developmental disabilities in their homes. Host Home Providers create a supportive, family-like environment, assisting with all activities of daily living 24 hours a day.
Responsibilities
- Create a supportive, family-like environment
- Supply all of the care needed for an adult in this program
- Assist with all activities of daily living 24 hours a day
- Provide daily documentation
- Attend and participate in all meetings
- Maintain a clean and orderly home
Requirements
- Valid Driver license, car insurance and current registration
- Ability to pass State/Federal background checks for all members in the home
- Must live in Travis County
- Must have means of transportation for medical appointments, day services/employment, preferred activities, and personal needs shopping
- Must be willing to receive training in medication administration, CPR/First Aid, and other specifics surrounding the individual's needs
- Must have a computer/laptop, printer, scanner, and internet for daily documentation
- Completion of all required trainings
- Must have detailed verbal/written communication skills
- Must understand and comply with all agency and state policy and procedures
