About the Role
Klaviyo is scaling fast following its public offering in 2023. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and build the Order to Cash (O2C) foundation for a rapidly growing company. The Finance Technology Systems team, part of G&A Systems within Global Technology Solutions (GTS), is responsible for designing, operating, and improving the applications and workflows that manage the company's finances, risk, and reporting at scale. This position reports to the Director, G&A Systems and leads the team responsible for Finance Technology Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead Enterprise and International Expansion capabilities for O2C to drive revenue uplift.
- Own the O2C technology roadmap, translating business requirements into functional and technical designs.
- Integrate CPQ to NetSuite and deliver scalable Enterprise capabilities.
- Analyze the O2C systems landscape and recommend future enhancements.
- Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing and build processes.
- Own SOX, controls, and audit readiness for Finance systems.
- Design, implement, and operate IT General Controls (ITGCs) across O2C applications.
- Simplify and automate controls and evidence collection for more reliable and predictable audits.
- Lead AI-native transformation within Finance, identifying and delivering AI use cases across the O2C workflow.
- Partner with AI and data platform teams and Finance Engineering to embed AI into core Finance processes.
- Design and optimize core Finance processes and systems in collaboration with Controllership, Tax, and Treasury leaders.
- Ensure ERP and other SaaS O2C applications are configured, integrated, and operated for accurate and timely financial close, scalable revenue and billing, and high-quality data.
- Serve as the primary technology partner for Controller and Finance leadership on systems, data, and process topics.
- Represent Finance Technology Systems in executive forums and cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years in enterprise or business systems with significant ownership of Finance technology at a tech or SaaS company.
- 4+ years of experience specifically in Order to Cash (O2C) responsibilities.
- Practical SOX ITGC experience and a proven track record working with Internal Audit and external auditors.
- Solid understanding of enterprise-led growth and international expansion system requirements.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and Finance application architecture (NetSuite/Oracle, Avalara, Zuora, or similar).
- Experience with integration patterns and Finance data flow across modern tech stacks.
- Ability to deliver business outcomes by partnering with a strong engineering team with an AI build-first mentality.
- Experience building or scaling AI and automation in Finance workflows (reconciliations, invoice processing, forecasting prep).
- Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and align Finance and engineering stakeholders.
