About the Role
You are the first hire in the content function and will own it outright, working closely with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and thought leaders. The key outcome is audience growth and efficient conversion into purchase intent.
Responsibilities
- Build the content strategy for each active domain and product, aimed at growing a specific audience.
- Own content formats including video, short form, long form, and webinars.
- Own the content experimentation framework, testing and scaling successful formats.
- Build a programmatic content engine to quickly turn expert opinion into high-quality content with engineering support.
- Measure strategy performance and iterate to ensure audience and purchase intent compound.
Requirements
- Owned a content strategy end-to-end in finance, fintech, data, or a comparable high-growth startup.
- Demonstrated ability to work to numbers, with specific examples of audience growth and channel impact.
- Ability to discuss finance and economics, with a serious interest and demonstrated experience.
- High quality bar evident in published work, with ability to reflect on past publications.
- Desire to build a new content engine rather than run an existing one.
- Based in London, or willing to relocate.
