About the Role
As a Baker, you will prepare fresh, high-quality baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts. You will measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate items, ensuring consistency and quality. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, managing inventory, and collaborating with team members. Customer interaction, including assisting with product questions and taking special orders, is also a key part of the position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and production methods.
- Measure, mix, shape, and bake products.
- Decorate items such as cakes and specialty desserts.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Rotate and label ingredients.
- Ensure products are displayed in full, well-stocked, and visually appealing cases.
- Partner with bakery team members to plan daily production needs.
- Assist customers with product questions.
- Take special orders.
- Help create a positive customer experience through friendly and efficient service.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Prior baking or food production experience preferred.
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
