About the Role
Join our Strategy, Risk & Transactions – Advisory – Actuarial & Insurance Services team to analyze insurance business risks and make them manageable using mathematical models and machine learning. Our team's actuarial insights form the basis for strategic decisions. Help us achieve success and make a difference as an Intern / Working Student in Actuarial Science.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in ongoing projects in life, health, or property and casualty insurance.
- Support the development and expansion of deterministic and stochastic models using advanced data analysis algorithms.
- Contribute to the further development of solutions across the entire actuarial value chain.
- Work on the calculation, analysis, and validation of insurance liabilities.
Requirements
- Student of (Business) Mathematics, ideally in an advanced semester of Bachelor's or Master's degree with above-average performance and commitment.
- Practical experience through internships or lectures in insurance/finance is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in programming, e.g., in Python, R, or MS VBA.
- Enjoyment of complex tasks and willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with a complex field using strong communication skills to contribute to project success.
