About the Role
Seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to provide excellent medical care, maintain patient records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates patients and documents pertinent findings.
- Diagnoses and treats diseases and manages chronic illnesses.
- Orders and interprets laboratory and special examinations or tests.
- Provides preventative health services, including education and counseling.
- Collaborates with other clinicians and staff for continuity of care.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Graduate of a registered Nurse Practitioner education program in New York.
- Certified or eligible for certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a New York State-approved body (ANCC/AANP).
- Current and unrestricted licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York or eligible for licensure.
