About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and support a welcoming environment. Provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations while representing Allied Universal’s values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe vehicle, trailer, package, and personnel movement in accordance with site policies and procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
- Complete detailed activity reports and communicate security-related concerns, incidents, and irregularities to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
