About the Role
The Finance Analyst will play a key role in overseeing the Content Licensing P&L, acting as a business partner to senior leadership and the broader team to create the revenue forecast and model deals across multiple markets and clients. This role is crucial in consolidating regional roll-ups for EMEA markets, providing submissions to central planning, and owning the Studio Ultimates process.
Responsibilities
- Aid the Regional consolidation of all analysis, reporting and presentations for the Quarterly Forecast, AOP and 5YP processes for Content Sales EMEA
- Prepare all necessary analysis, reporting and presentations for the Quarterly Forecast, AOP and 5YP processes for regionally managed territories
- Co-ordinate with Accounting and Controllership to support the Quarterly Close process
- Work closely with and provide guidance and support to all EMEA territory Finance teams
- Provide financial and commercial support to the Content Sales sales team on deal renewals and other sales activity
- Support the Finance Manager on any Content Sales ultimates processes and deliverables to the Burbank (US) Finance team and support Content Valuation exercises for EMEA
- Support the Content Sales Finance Manager and Director with any ad-hoc analysis, financial modelling, reporting and presentations as required
- Support a ‘one team’ approach within EMEA finance. Build a network amongst the finance leadership community across lines of business and markets, sharing resources, knowledge and best practice
- Adopt a flexible approach to provide ad hoc finance support to the finance leadership across all Media lines of business
Requirements
- Degree Qualified and ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent qualification
- Experience in financial planning and analysis
- Experience of working in a similar role within the Media sector preferable
- Experience working with financial IT systems
- Experience working with SAP/BW and Cognos Reporting
- Excellent proven Excel skills
- Experience of working with and providing financial support to operational and commercial teams
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to produce clear and insightful presentations that deliver key messaging at the appropriate level of detail
- Financial modelling and analysis
- Template creation and consolidation
- Numerate and analytical with a desire to think through and resolve problems
