About the Role
Our Engineering Summer Internship Programme is designed to simulate our Engineering Graduate Programme, offering insight into a career in technology at LSEG. Interns will explore potential career paths within D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell, and I&C Engineering functions, with roles varying from development and programming to business analysis and tech project management. These are real roles where interns contribute to the organization's success over a 9-week period.
Responsibilities
- Explore potential careers paths by working within D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell, I&C Engineering functions.
- Contribute to the success of the organization in real roles.
Requirements
- Must be a penultimate year undergraduate.
- Must be due to complete degree in summer 2028.
- Must be studying a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering or mathematics).
- Demonstrate an interest in technology via work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic studies.
- Show interest in financial markets and how technology supports the business.
- Exhibit curiosity for data and ability to analyze information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
- Be able to connect the dots and think creatively.
- Demonstrate focus, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with others using strong communication skills.
- Demonstrate and recognize that achievements are equally important to how they are achieved.
