About the Role

This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of quality healthcare and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides and supports the clinician in delivering world-class, quality healthcare services that support the whole person.
- Offers excellent client-centered customer service, ensuring the client is the focus of all decision-making.
- Participates in health center efforts to achieve established productivity and revenue cycle goals.
- Partners with the center manager and clinician to create efficient and effective systems and processes for business success and sustainability.
- Adheres to organizational and clinical standards, protocols, and policies.
- Provides factual, non-biased patient information and education.
- Performs technical clinical functions including blood pressure monitoring, venipuncture, lab work, and medical charting.
- Performs basic office functions such as reception, telephone triage, stocking supplies, filing, billing and coding, and routine insurance data entry.
- Ensures an environment that appreciates and embraces diversity in race, culture, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and gender identity.
Requirements
- Solution-oriented with a positive, optimistic, and confident can-do attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with frequently changing daily responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information with diplomacy and tact.
- Comfortable discussing sexuality, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, and pregnancy options.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and have reliable transportation.
- Communicates clearly and directly, with the ability to hear, reflect, and act on feedback related to identity and equity.
- Awareness of multiple group identities and their dynamics, demonstrating self-awareness, empathy, and humility.
- Builds authentic relationships and trust with a diversity of people, effectively working across differences.
