About the Role
As a Systems Engineer I at Honeywell Aerospace, you will support the Head-Up Display (HUD) system design process from concept to production. You will collaborate with senior engineers on system requirements, design, safety analysis, prototyping, hardware & software integration, aircraft installation, and certification. Your role involves staying updated with industry trends and technologies to contribute to the success of HUD system development and innovative solutions that enhance quality of life through reliable products.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of system and software solutions.
- Perform testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to contribute to the overall design process.
- Perform system simulation development in a laboratory environment.
- Support product and system safety analysis development.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Provide technical support to the hardware engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 0-2 years of experience in systems engineering or related technical roles, preferably in aerospace or related industries.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S. due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations.
