About the Role
The Strategic Finance Analyst will be responsible for the financial and analytical aspects of key business decisions, go-to-market strategies, resource allocation, partnership, and investment decisions. This role will enable executives and team leaders to make better decisions and will work closely with them to evaluate, plan, execute, and measure strategic business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own company key revenue forecast models for new and existing products
- Help drive the annual planning process; prepare monthly and quarterly board and executive reporting
- Support the investor relations function and corporate development initiatives, including any potential M&A
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to inform teams on operating strategies, investment recommendations, and new business opportunities
- Develop cross-functional partnerships with Leadership across the company to review investment opportunities, growth levers, and align on resourcing models
- Lead, collaborate, and contribute to business case development of new strategic initiatives
- Provide strategic advice and direction to facilitate fast decision-making
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years experience in investment banking, management consulting, or an analytical role at a data-driven technology company
- Superior analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
- Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
- Confidence to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
- Drive for results and a sense of urgency with the capacity to multitask and prioritize
- Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Substantial experience with financial modeling and proficiency in Excel
