About the Role
Forward Deployed Software Engineers embed directly with internal business units (Finance, Legal, M&A, Talent) to identify operational bottlenecks and ship agentic software into core firm workflows. This high-impact role involves deploying AI tools to automate, accelerate, and scale internal processes, compressing complex domain knowledge into scalable workflows.
Responsibilities
- Embed with internal business units to understand team functions and identify automation opportunities.
- Map key workflows where LLM-native applications will create the greatest impact.
- Build and deploy agentic tools, including integrations, prompts, evaluations, and user interfaces.
- Monitor system performance, gather feedback, and refine agent parameters.
- Document architecture and deployment patterns for core engineering teams.
- Serve as the technical bridge between engineering and internal business teams.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of full-time software engineering experience.
- Strong fluency in Python, TypeScript, or Go.
- Product-minded and inquisitive, enjoying direct work with end-users.
- High autonomy and proactive execution, thriving in ambiguous environments.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or agentic frameworks.
- Curiosity about business operations in finance, legal, and M&A.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical choices to non-technical partners.
