About the Role

As a Data Scientist, you will be part of a team working on cutting-edge machine learning models. You will collaborate with Analysts and Machine Learning Engineers, taking full ownership from idea generation to final product implementation. The ideal candidate is result-focused, innovative, possesses a solid quantitative background, and has a good business understanding.

Responsibilities

• Turn discoveries and ideas into machine learning models within a multi-disciplined team.
• Prototype diverse machine learning models, including credit scoring and recommendation engines.
• Conduct research and development to improve models using extensive and unique data sets.
• Contribute to advancing Data Science at Kredivo Group.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Graduated from or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence).
• Ability to build robust end-to-end predictive models using the latest Machine Learning techniques and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Exposure to RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and No-SQL platforms (e.g., S3).
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience with alternate data to evaluate credit risk (optional).
• Experience in building end-to-end Deep Learning and/or NLP models (optional).
