About the Role
We are seeking experienced Commercial Drivers to join our on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company. In this role, you will be at the forefront of turning the company's vision into reality, ensuring safety, maintaining vehicle readiness, completing software and hardware tests, and representing our client's brand. You will also interact with multiple teams across the company, gaining insights into vehicle and personnel operations and contributing to the future of autonomous mobility.
Responsibilities
- Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs.
- Conduct basic software operations to support real-time data collection.
- Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs.
- Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance.
- Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage.
Requirements

- Possess a typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
- Basic vehicle knowledge with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving for extended periods (4–8 hours per day).
- No moving violations within the past 12 months, DUIs, or criminal record.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and strict safety guidelines.
- Ability to work onsite in both Mountain View and San Francisco.
