About the Role
IDOL RIDGE WINERY is seeking a Team Lead with strong leadership and a passion for hospitality to manage tasting room operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and drive financial results. This role requires a natural leader who can motivate a team, solve problems, and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Manages all customer service aspects relating to tasting room operations
- Ensures employees effectively and appropriately carry out company customer service policies and procedures
- Maintains general upkeep of the tasting room
- Ensures a safe and working customer experience environment by facilitating safe working behaviors of the team
- Ensures maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds using a preventative maintenance program
- Monitors info@ email and responds to inquiries promptly
- Coordinates winery reservation details with guests
- Manages store operation procedures per company guidelines
- Ensures accurate inventory procedures and levels
- Manages payroll, opening and closing procedures, and money handling
- Oversees cash control procedures
- Tracks and reports tasting room expenditures
- Manages all Square functions
- Performs all duties with the highest standard of quality and cleanliness
- Manages all aspects of shipping
- Ensures shipping products are stocked
- Communicates any shipping material needs
Requirements

- Computer literacy, including experience with POS system
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Must have some retail experience

- Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk and hear frequently
- Ability to sit occasionally
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally
