About the Role
The Restaurant Server safely and efficiently provides excellent customer service with a smile, ensuring guests have a positive dining experience that encourages loyalty. We expect you to proactively engage with guests to understand and meet their needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and present menus, specials, and promotions.
- Assist guests with menu selections, provide recommendations, and answer questions about ingredients, preparation, and dietary restrictions.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and promptly enter them into the POS system, communicating special requests to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of tableware, glassware, and utensils.
- Anticipate guests' needs throughout their meal and provide proactive assistance.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate service timing.
- Communicate special requests, dietary restrictions, or allergies to the kitchen.
- Relay guest feedback and concerns to management for resolution.
- Process guest payments accurately, handle transactions securely, and present bills promptly.
