About the Role
GoHenry is seeking a Video Editor to join their Marketing team in London. This role will create content across social, paid advertising, TV, web, and audio, reporting to the Manager of Design. The Video Editor will be a go-to specialist for video and motion, responsible for bringing creative ideas to briefs and translating brand and campaign thinking into compelling content.
Responsibilities
- Create content across social, paid advertising, TV, web, and audio
- Bring creative ideas to briefs and turn brand and campaign thinking into compelling content
- Be hands-on from ideation and storyboarding through to editing, animation, and final delivery
- Manage voiceover recordings and post-production through to final delivery
- Produce high-quality creative work
- Develop ideas with a strong sense of storytelling, visual composition, and timing
- Develop and evolve Performance and Brand TV Marketing
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in video editing, motion design or related creative roles, ideally within family, fintech or lifestyle brands
- Strong motion graphics and editing skills, with experience creating engaging work for fast-paced social channels
- Experience delivering creative across TV, social and digital, with exposure to radio/audio production beneficial
- A portfolio demonstrating strong social-native content, including UGC, Reels, TikTok and performance creative
- Solid grounding in design fundamentals, including layout, visual hierarchy and typography
- A confident communicator who can clearly explain creative choices and work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to take a brief or established creative idea and translate it into compelling video and motion
- Comfortable using judgement to solve creative challenges, adapting existing approaches where needed
- Excellent attention to detail and able to manage work independently, seeking input at key stages
