About the Role

As a Trainee People & Culture / HR, you will actively shape people topics and company culture within a medium-sized media and further education company. You will be part of a 3-person People & Culture team, making processes smarter, supporting employees throughout their entire employee lifecycle, and growing into the role step by step.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding), taking on increasing responsibility for your own topics and employee base.
  • Learn all relevant HR processes, assist in optimizing them, and contribute ideas for the use of AI tools.
  • Manage your own job postings in the recruiting process, from creation to contract signing, contributing to a positive candidate experience.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies with the team, including active sourcing, to attract suitable candidates.
  • Support internal company communication and the organization of internal events.
  • Help make P&C topics visible and contribute your own ideas for company culture.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in a relevant field (e.g., business, social sciences, or humanities with an HR focus), or graduation is imminent.
  • At least one internship or working student position in HR, People & Culture, or personnel administration.
  • Strong communication and expression skills with a high degree of enjoyment in interacting with various stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Strong team spirit, curiosity, and a desire to co-create and redesign processes.
  • Ideally, affinity for digital tools and initial experience with AI applications.
  • Structured, organized work approach with a good sense of priorities and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ideally, knowledge of German labor law and motivation to continuously expand and update this knowledge.
  • Excellent German and at least good English language skills.
