About the Role
American Bolt Corporation, a family-owned industry leader in fastener distribution, is looking for a Warehouse Shipping Lead to join our 1st shift team. This is a hands-on role focused on coordinating daily shipping activities and ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries within a team-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
- Partner with warehouse leadership to manage daily workloads, staffing, and priorities.
- Assign driver routes and vehicles and support daily loading activities.
- Arrange FedEx and third-party shipments, including required documentation.
- Monitor outbound progress and communicate priorities during shift handoffs.
- Train, support, and provide performance feedback to shipping team members.
- Work with Sales and other departments to resolve order and shipping issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, product flow, and inventory accuracy.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years' experience in warehouse shipping, receiving, and/or order fulfillment.
- Previous experience training, leading, or providing day-to-day guidance to warehouse employees preferred.
- Forklift experience required.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Employment offers are contingent on successful passing of a background check, drug screen, and physical.
