About the Role
Bradford Recovery Center, an inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, is seeking organized, motivated LPNs to join their team. They provide personalized, evidence-based care to adults aged 18 and older impacted by substance use disorder, addiction, and co-occurring mental and behavioral health challenges.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
- Collaborate with others to ensure patients’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs are met.
- Provide for the basic comfort of patients and implement nursing interventions identified in the individualized plan of care.
- Apply appropriate interventions to progress the patient towards wellness and address maintenance of wellness.
- Discuss care provided with patients, listen to their concerns, and report status changes to registered nurses and doctors.
- Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, coworkers, and others involved in patient treatment.
- Provide for the safe delivery of medication in accordance with policies, procedures, and physician orders.
- Maintain standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with facility policy, procedures, governing bodies, and performance improvement standards.
- Perform thorough, accurate reporting and documentation of patient symptoms, responses, and progress.
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- One or more years of nursing experience within the clinical area of service provided by the facility is preferred.
- Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.
