About the Role
This role involves working directly with early-stage startups to help them build scalable and secure architectures on the cloud, optimizing for time and cost. You will act as a trusted advisor, build enduring relationships, and contribute to product development and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with startup customers to provide technical advocacy as they build their products in the cloud, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Create plans with customer account teams to address customer cloud needs.
- Share technical knowledge broadly through sessions with larger customer groups.
- Collaborate with AWS teams to create content for the broader startup community, such as online videos and digital content.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
- 7+ years of experience in specific technology domains like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders or clients.
- Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up.
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
