About the Role

The Solutions Enablement Team supports advisers in opening cash accounts for existing RBC Brewin Dolphin clients, critical to the integration of RBC Brewin Dolphin and RBC WME. This role is crucial for achieving firmwide targets by supporting the onboarding process and enhancing the client experience. As a Senior Associate, you will drive service excellence, mentor colleagues, and optimize operational processes, suiting individuals with strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the onboarding lifecycle for all client types, including HNWIs, corporates, trusts, and charities.
  • Build trust with internal stakeholders to enhance the client experience.
  • Act as a contact for internal partners and clients, providing expert support for day-to-day banking and operational requirements.
  • Report Pod activities, performance metrics, and key updates to the SET Manager weekly.
  • Lead daily Pod Calls to discuss priorities, challenges, and progress.
  • Provide feedback on process improvements and identify training needs for the advisor community.
  • Mentor Pod members, providing guidance and support for professional development.
  • Oversee the initial and ongoing training of Pod members.
  • Develop and update procedures to streamline workflows, ensure compliance, and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for issues within the Pod and lead the correction of Operational Risk Events (OREs).
  • Take ownership of complex referrals assigned to the Pod.
  • Provide actionable feedback on day-to-day operations.
  • Complete testing for projects on an ad hoc basis to drive process improvements.

Requirements

  • Management and project experience essential.
  • Demonstrable experience leading in a team environment.
  • Track record of improving processes and providing constructive feedback which led to enhancements.
  • Collaborative and inclusive approach to work, with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Hard working and professional approach to work with a confidence to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written.
  • Experience working in Wealth Management, Financial Services or Professional Services.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to adapt to new systems, navigate intranet sites and various web-based packages.
  • Interest in growing industry knowledge and learning new product information.
