About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Revenue Management, UK to lead our admissions revenue strategy across Merlin’s UK attractions and shape revenue optimization for renowned entertainment destinations. This role is pivotal in driving commercial performance by combining data, market insight, and commercial instinct to identify growth opportunities and develop actionable revenue strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the regional approach to admissions revenue management and helping the UK outperform its financial and revenue objectives.
  • Using historical performance, demand patterns, market trends, and competitor insight to continually evolve pricing, promotional, and channel strategies.
  • Identifying new revenue opportunities, testing new ideas, and bringing an entrepreneurial mindset to performance optimization.
  • Working with Go-to-Market, Marketing, E-Commerce, Trade, Consumer Proposition, Operations, and Finance to translate insight into action.
  • Analyzing performance data to understand trends, identify emerging patterns, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Partnering across functions to ensure new propositions and campaigns are commercially optimized and successfully delivered.
  • Sharing insight and best practice with Revenue Management colleagues across Merlin and embedding best-in-class approaches within the UK.
  • Leading and developing the UK Revenue Management team, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing environment.

Requirements

  • Established revenue management or pricing leader with commercial judgment, analytical capability, and leadership presence.
  • At least 10 years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or consultancy.
  • Experience within theme parks, travel, tourism, or another dynamic, demand-led consumer environment is ideal.
  • Proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience using advanced analytics, forecasting, and commercial insight to influence strategy and deliver measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze detailed performance data and understand the broader commercial picture.
  • Skill in translating complex data into compelling stories and presenting recommendations to senior executives.
  • A customer-first mindset and a genuine appetite for growth.
  • Curiosity to challenge assumptions, commercial acumen to spot opportunities, and collaborative skills to influence stakeholders.
