Responsibilities
- Contribute to day-to-day projects and LTP expectations through the leading and execution of maintenance projects, including troubleshooting, PM, corrective maintenance, and assisting the Maintenance team.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Maintenance team, providing feedback and conducting formal evaluations to ensure employees have the necessary skills and competencies.
- Complete administrative duties such as approving overtime, updating Dayforce, and managing vacation schedules.
- Lead shift handover meetings, providing project updates, assigning jobs, and communicating countermeasures.
- Support Maintenance Cost Containment objectives by tracking labor overtime.
- Conduct workplace inspections regarding safety, GMP violations, and production line/equipment issues.
- Direct and perform work in a safe manner, adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of prior maintenance supervisory experience in a production-manufacturing environment (food services/baking is a strong asset).
- Excellent problem solver with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced working knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and components.
- Working knowledge and experience with Automation, Industrial Process and Control systems, PLC, Measuring Devices, Instrumentation, Robotic Applications, and Bulk Handling Systems.
- Working knowledge and experience with Facility Maintenance and Plant Equipment.
- Proficient in planning, scheduling, and assigning tasks, with experience in defining priorities, required skills, and resources.
- Computer-savvy with practical knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Safety-Oriented Supervisor with a positive "can do attitude".
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
