About the Role
As a Product Designer (m/w/d), you will shape digital products that solve real user needs and create sustainable added value for our clients. You will accompany the entire product development process – from discovery and exploration through conception and validation to implementation and continuous development.
Responsibilities
- Design digital products and services along the entire product development process.
- Structure problems, formulate hypotheses, and develop viable solution approaches together with clients, product, and technology.
- Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into well-thought-out product solutions.
- Develop user flows, information architectures, wireframes, prototypes, and interfaces for validation and further development of products.
- Plan and moderate workshops, discovery formats, user interviews, research activities, and usability tests.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, data specialists, and other stakeholders, and support the implementation of your concepts.
- Evaluate design options regarding user value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Work with design systems, components, and reusable patterns, ensuring consistency and scalability across products and features.
- Present and justify design decisions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize qualitative and quantitative insights for the continuous improvement of digital products.
- Actively use AI tools for research, exploration, concept development, prototyping, and optimizing your workflow.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or in a comparable role in the digital product environment.
- Completed university degree in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Digital Design, Media Informatics, or a comparable field.
- Experience in discovery, workshop, and concept phases, as well as in designing digital products from problem definition to implementation.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, mindset, and the impact of your work.
- Proficient in Figma and modern design and prototyping tools.
- Experience with design systems, components, and scalable design patterns.
- Ability to translate user needs, business goals, and technical requirements into viable product solutions.
- Active use of AI in daily work and understanding of how AI can be meaningfully integrated into product and design processes.
- Very good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Understanding of product metrics, analytics, and data-driven decisions.
- Experience with AI-supported design workflows, prototyping, or research processes.
- Experience with design systems in larger product landscapes or multi-brand environments.
