Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar.
Requisitions and stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce.
Maintains stock, cuts, and stores fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables.
Greets guests, promotes and documents drink orders.
Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and portion control.
Abides by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
Inputs orders into a register, creates checks, and maintains accountability of all beverages served.
Receives cash, makes change, verifies charges, records charges, and executes vouchers to balance moneys.
Locks up and stores beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.
Complies with attendance rules and is available to work regularly.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Must have previous experience bartending at a restaurant, catering, or other business establishment.
Must have the ability to communicate in English.
Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
Must have basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes.
Must have sufficient manual dexterity in hands to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock.
Must have the ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
Must have the ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures.
Must have the ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons.
Must be willing to pitch-in and help co-workers and be a team player.
Must maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Must have a self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Must be able to communicate well with guests.
