About the Role

BYD UK is seeking a Warehouse Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to the warehouse management team during setup and ongoing operations. The role focuses on documentation, coordination, reporting, and daily office administration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the warehouse management team.
  • Prepare, organise and maintain operational documents, reports, records and filing systems.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and external service providers.
  • Arrange meetings, site visits, schedules and related administrative activities.
  • Support office administration, purchasing administration and routine service coordination.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, meeting minutes and business correspondence.
  • Support warehouse setup activities and ongoing operational requirements.
  • Assist with cross-functional coordination and continuous improvement activities.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the UK.

Skills

  • Strong organisational, communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable.
  • Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented.
  • Able to work effectively in a team.

Experience Level

  • Relevant experience in administration, operations support or project coordination.
  • Warehouse, logistics or manufacturing experience is advantageous.

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline.
