About the Role
Our Technology Internship programme invites you to spend 3, 4 or 6 months fully embedded in one of our teams, tackling impactful projects that drive technological advancement and deliver meaningful business impact. You'll receive formal training and comprehensive support from a dedicated buddy and mentor. Your projects will span cutting-edge technology domains such as software development, DevOps and data engineering, with the opportunity to enhance our quantitative investment platform, integrate new datasets, extend our execution and order management systems, and contribute to our core technology platform. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance may be offered a full-time position on our Technology Foundation Programme.
Responsibilities
- Tackle impactful projects that drive technological advancement and deliver meaningful business impact.
- Enhance our quantitative investment platform.
- Integrate new datasets.
- Extend our execution and order management systems.
- Contribute to our core technology platform.
- Build a deep understanding of our business and the financial markets by working closely with teams across Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk, Responsible Investment, Operations and more.
- Present your project to senior management.
Requirements
- Experience working with Python, Java, C#.Net or C++ or demonstrable understanding of how an enterprise infrastructure functions.
- A genuine passion for technology - include links to relevant work such as Github repositories, previous internships or Hackathon projects on your application.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Candidates should be in the penultimate year of their master’s or bachelor’s degree.
