About the Role
As an IT Architect, you will design the IT system landscapes for national and international banks and financial service providers within project business. You will bridge the gap between IT and business, designing future-proof IT landscapes and architectures from concept to implementation. You will analyze customer needs, prepare your findings in a structured, management-oriented, and understandable manner, and present them to executives. You will quickly take on responsibility, monitor technology trends and innovations, evaluate their practical application for clients, and contribute to project and personal success. In addition to project work, you will contribute to findic as a whole (e.g., through innovation and expert contributions), expand your client network, and support findic's growth.
Responsibilities
- Design IT system landscapes for national and international banks and financial service providers in project business.
- Design future-proof IT landscapes and architectures from concept to implementation at the intersection of IT and business.
- Analyze customer needs and prepare findings in a structured, management-oriented, and understandable manner for executive presentations.
- Take on responsibility, monitor technology trends and innovations, and evaluate their practical application for clients.
- Contribute to findic's overall growth through innovation and expert contributions.
- Expand client network and support findic's growth.
Requirements
- Experience with IT architectures in banking or other financial services, or in IT/in-house consulting.
- Excellent academic background in a technical or scientific field (MBA, Master's, PhD) such as Mathematics, (Business) Informatics, Physics, or Engineering.
- Fluent in Java and SQL.
- Familiarity with OpenStack, z/OS, Python, KBS, IMAC, Docker, FinTS, and ACID.
- Understanding of the broader context of IT in banks.
- Ability to quickly analyze existing technical and business structures and landscapes.
- Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level, business fluent).
- Good English language skills (minimum B2 level, fluent).
