About the Role
Seeking an Associate with at least 3 years of experience to join a technically innovative team working on diverse projects including houses, apartments, institutional, and commercial buildings. The role involves all phases of design projects, from Pre-Design through Construction Administration, with a focus on producing high-quality work using Revit.
Responsibilities
- Be an essential part of a project team working on all phases of a design project from Pre-Design through Construction Administration
- Assist in project coordination and the production of project documentation
- Assist with survey and analysis of existing site conditions
- Produce drawings with direction from the design team
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and senior members to produce deliverables accurately and on time
- Prepare for and attend meetings with clients and consultants, record decisions, and issue notes
- Assist in coordination efforts with other project professionals
- Develop drawings and models through all phases from Pre-Design to Construction Administration
- Develops clear drawings from a Revit model
- Possesses the ability to build thoughtful, parametric model families in Revit
- Communicate effectively in written and oral formats
- Self-check own work and the work of other team members for completeness and accuracy
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience post-graduation
- At least 3 years solid Revit experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, or other architectural and design software is a plus
- Experience working in a classical architecture firm is a plus
- Must be able to commute to New York office 5 days per week
