About the Role
The Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Physician to join our Medical Department. This role is a key clinical leadership position responsible for delivering compassionate and quality medical care to residents, working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of adequate, compassionate, and quality medical care to Parker's residents.
- Coordination of care with other members of the health care team.
Requirements
- Two (2) or more years of experience as an Attending Physician in a hospital with a geriatric population or within a nursing home environment.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- NYS Board certification in a primary care specialty.
- Completion of residency in Internal Medicine.
- Eligibility for hospital admitting privileges.
- Clean and active license to practice medicine in New York State.
- Proficient in SigmaCare or a similar Electronic Medical Record software.
